Joe Hage

Dr. Joe Hage has more than 37 years of experience in organizational leadership, operations, administration, finance, information technology, management consulting, teaching, and academic research. In the information technology field, he has held positions in executive leadership, software development, project management, product management, business development, consulting, sales, and marketing. Dr. Hage has a global acumen having worked in the United States, Canada, Middle East, and other international markets. His scholarly research is published in books and peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Hage is a seasoned entrepreneur with executive experience in private and publicly traded companies. His areas of expertise include organizational behavior and critical thinking; organizational design, change management, and strategic planning; leadership and culture; global operations, outsourcing, and offshoring; and Internet, e-commerce, and cloud strategies. Dr. Hage has a proven record in starting up and scaling organizations from the ground up, attracting and retaining talented individuals, and building results-oriented success-driven teams.

Dr. Hage is a senior management consultant working on projects in the public and private sectors. He was Associate Chief Information Officer at the American University of Beirut (AUB), a leading provider of education and healthcare services in the Middle East. Preceding AUB, Dr. Hage was chief executive officer of eSharing, an information technology products and solutions company. Dr. Hage spent nine years at Agile Software (acquired by Oracle) where he led the Small and Medium Enterprise Solutions Division as Senior Vice President and General Manager (2003-2006). Prior to this responsibility, Dr. Hage was Senior Vice President of Products and Technology (2001-2003) and Vice President of Corporate Marketing (1997-2000). Agile's business focused on product lifecycle management and supply chain management solutions.

Dr. Hage also held positions at Universant, Starfish Software (acquired by Motorola), Novell, Borland, Prime Computer, Data General, and Honeywell in the United States, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Lebanon.

Dr. Hage has a doctorate in Business Administration Summa Cum Laude (University of Phoenix), M.B.A. Summa Cum Laude (Santa Clara University), and B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Northeastern University).
