Greg Pavlosky was born in Chicago, IL and was raised in Johnstown, PA where he lived with his parents and 3 sisters. Greg attended St. Benedict's School for 8eight years and then attended Bishop McCort for 9th grade. He finished his schooling and graduated from Greater Johnstown Vocational-Technical School in 1976. At Vo-Tech Greg studied Food Service and Preparation. That was a natural for him having grown up in his fathers restaurants, bakery and catering operation.
Greg also spent years as a member of Geistown Volunteer Fire Co. as an EMT and firefighter. Greg is married and he and his wife have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Greg enjoys the outdoors, sports and motorcycles with his wife.
Greg had spent years competing in a variety of off road motorcycle racing events.
Greg and his wife have longed for living in a rural area and building their homestead. His years of researching and reading lead him to write his first book in his HOMESTEADING Series. HOMESTEADING: A 21st Century Beginning of Self-Reliance was released in January of 2013. He followed that up with a second book in April of 2013 entitled, HOMESTEADING: Money Saving, Frugal Tips and Recipes.
His third book will be released in August 2013 and is a departure from his HOMESTEADING Series. That book is entitled - WHAT We Should Know and Should Be Teaching Our Kids. Preliminary reviews, prior to publishing have been well received with lots of positive comments and affirmations from a broad section of people.
