Janis Lander

Janis Lander was born in Sydney Australia, and has published articles on the visual arts, and a PhD on the theory and practice of the spiritual element in art and art education at UNSW. She teaches a course on this subject at Sydney University Continuing Education, titled "Art and Philosophy of the Spirit." She is a visual artist, and works in painting and in etching.
