Robert Desilva is a native of New York City. He started writing when he was twelve years old, He has completed the Dark Season Series. "Young Vampires-Chronicle of the Hunters," was the first in a series of four that contained a common theme, followed by, "A Gothic City", "The Dark Season-Gargoyles," and "Vampire Hunter-The Genesis 1890," Writing sci-fi and gothic style thrillers are more interesting because he can contrast romance and violence between the characters-making certain one element does not over play the other. And also because there is less limitations on what they can do in the story line. Readers say his novels make them feel like they've just seen a movie because his style of story telling is so sharp and vivid. That is understandable since all of his books were originally written as movie scripts.
