David Brunicardi

David Brunicardi was born and raised in San Francisco. He has studied fiction writing through Stanford's Continuing Studies, and has recently completed his debut short story collection, Outside Lands. The title refers to the original name given to the remote, working-class neighborhood he grew up in. His writing blends realism with the surreal, memory with the fantastic. Brunicardi's love of the outdoors and forgotten places is apparent throughout much of his work. He is currently working on his first novel.
