Michael Canion

Bishop Michael Canion, author of When Prayer Seems to Fail, has written a very personal book that chronicles some of the highs and lows of his walk with God. As a well-seasoned scholar of the Word of God, Bishop Canion brings a wealth of experience to his work as an author. He spends most of his time reading and studying the Word of God faithfully.

Bishop Canion is a extraordinarily humble man of God. He is known as a preacher who has been ordained by God to preach the Gospel to liberate and encourage. He has embraced the mission to declare to God's people that we are special to God and that we can make it through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Bishop Canion is the Sr. Pastor of the Assembly of Truth Family Worship Center in Atlanta Georgia. He is married to Rev. Dr. Tanda Joy Canion, the father of two children, India Nichole and Christian Michael and the grandfather of beautiful twins Lyric Nichole and Nikai Answorth.

Bishop Canion holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Education and a Doctor of Divinity degree. He is a practical, insightful and transparent minister of the word. He has authored several books and conducts a variety of seminars.
