T.D. Whittle was born and bred in Texas, spent her young adult life in New York, and has been permanently resettled in Australia since 2003. T.D. enjoyed a first career as a manager and senior buyer for an international publisher and bookseller, and a second career as a family therapist and clinical supervisor, working in public health and private practice. She and her husband, Robin, live in the central highlands of Victoria with their fluffy-toes ginger cat, Ponyo, where they own and operate Real World Interfaces, a small business specialising in modifications for electronic music synthesizers and drum machines. When not busy assembling circuit boards, T.D. spends her time reading and writing, bicycling, and ambling through the Australian bush looking for birds, koalas, and other beautiful wildlife. She loves long road trips, balmy weather, Murakami novels, and magical talking cats. She is an active member of Goodreads, and more of her writing can be found at LikeTellingTheTruth.com.
