Bob Moody

Bob Moody is a native Southern Californian born in 1949. He grew up in the San Fernando Valley, graduating from Granada Hills High School in 1967. As a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the Army in 1968 & 1969, he went on to study broadcasting, marketing and journalism at Santa Monica College and Orange Coast College. His career led him to the consumer electronics industry, most notably as a sales manager for both Sony Electronics and Panasonic. He has two grown sons and currently resides in Ventura County, California.

If asked, he would be the first to tell you that his sense of humor is a bit twisted, perhaps an acquired taste, a point of view which may not fit into the mainstream of opinion. Told through the eyes of a jaded and aging baby boomer and peppered with bold, saucy irreverence, his first novel of fiction, "Dirt Nap Chase", was published in 2012. Although it has received many glowing reviews, Moody cautions that it's not for everybody, especially those overly sensitive to political correctness.

His second book, "Serial Dating...at 60", is his personal story of the perils of internet dating.
