Kathryn Collett

Kathryn Collett is a successful businesswoman, author, wife, mother, grandmother and Christian. For nearly three decades she worked as a marketing executive for a major broadcasting corporation writing and producing materials for television.

For the last several years Kathryn has owned and operated At Your Service of St. Louis County LLC, a successful personal concierge business she built from the ground up.

Kathryn’s love of the Bible and her curiosity to know more about the story behind the story led her to write Phoebe’s Journey: Part 1 Of Passion And Pride.

"Great storytelling is the thread that connects generations. No matter the time period, the challenges of humanity remain the same. Love, jealousies, the quest for power, sin, redemption, family struggles, the list goes on--the issues we face are timeless and universal. From an early age I've been fascinated with books that transport me to another time and place. Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House On The Prairie books, Frances Hodgson Burnett's The Secret Garden, Esther Forbes' Johnny Tremain, Willa Cather's O Pioneers! and My Antonia, are a few of the books that had a lasting impact on me. Those stories made people and places real to me, even though their life's circumstances were vastly different from mine. I learned valuable lessons from those books. I believe Christian historical fiction can have the same impact on readers."

Beyond writing and managing her bread-and-butter business, Kathryn pursues her passions of reading great books, traveling to new frontiers, and spending time with her family.

She feels blessed beyond measure to share stories of the Bible to today's readers.
