J. P. Ruiz

Author J.P. Ruiz was born and raised in Uvalde, TX. He now resides with his wife Esmeralda Ruiz (editor) in Utopia, TX and is a full-time writer. They are the proud parents of two wonderful sons and two beautiful daughters. Ruiz studies Theology and English Literature at Regent University.

Ruiz is a disabled veteran of the Gulf War and worked a law enforcement officer for over ten years. Ruiz specialized in investigating crimes against children. He is has been called to the ministry to minister to people of all walks of life through his stories and teachings. Ruiz writes children’s books and books for adult readers. He serves on the children’s ministry team at his church and from time to time teaches adult Sunday school classes.
