Aaron J. Knoll

Aaron Knoll is an internationally recognized expert on gin.

Aaron has been writing about gin since 2009. His work has appeared in consumer publications such as Gin Magazine, as well as industry publications such as Distiller Magazine and Artisan Spirit. His previous books include The Craft of Gin and Gin: The Art and Craft of the Artisan Revival which was translated into seven languages and named on of the best Spirits Books of the Year by The Guardian.

He's been a judge for international spirits competitions including the American Distilling Institute's International Spirits Competition, the World Gin Awards and other local competitions.

Through his website, The GIN is IN, he's studied how people talk about gin, and how flavor preferences vary by location around the world and change over time.

Aaron's favorite gin drink is the Negroni.
