JACK J. BERRY believes that a play should do at least one (if not all) of three things: 1) get the audience to laugh, 2) cause the audience to think, 3) encourage the audience to be better people. He got started writing plays relatively late in life when he was IN community plays but saw so many other plays that, in his mind, did not do any of the three. He got started doing community theatre in part to a challenge from his wife Susan, who wasn’t convinced he could/would endure long rehearsals. When he’s not doing community theatre, Jack enjoys time playing softball and relaxing with his wife and many pets – the cats are his favorites and Mimzy is his favorite cat (of the 6 – but he loves them all!) He’s very grateful to The Lord for the countless blessings he has received, including a terrific “day job” as an analytics software tester. Every day is an answered prayer. He's also deeply appreciative of JAC Publishing & Promotions.
