I'm excited to announce my novel The Pet-Sit has been shortlisted for the 2026 Toby Award for Canadian-authored mysteries!

A multi-genre author and award-winning journalist, my recent novels for adults include: The Pet-Sit, a psychological suspense set in Portsmouth, U.K. and San Francisco; Too Good, a contemporary novel set in a hospice in England, and Culture Shock, set in 1995 Hong Kong. My books for teens include: Inside Information, set in contemporary East Coast Canada (Nova Scotia); Riptides, also set in Nova Scotia; a romance, Charged, set in Nova Scotia; and a fantasy, Membrane, which occurs throughout the multiverse. Upcoming novels include an adult sequel to Membrane, a fifth novel for teens, and a sequel to The Pet-Sit.
