KIRIMI BARINE

Kirimi Barine, PhD, is a leadership coach, author, and speaker with over a decade and a half of engaging in leadership training and development for both corporate and not-for-profit organizations in Africa and various parts of the world. His experience gained through various leadership positions held with different organizations, provides him the aptitude to equip, challenge, and inspire leaders across various spheres of influence. Dr. Barine is also a noteworthy leader in the publishing space. You may know him from his work as the chief executive at Evangel Publishing House, founding director of Publishing Institute of Africa, leadership and governance lecturer or for his work at the United Bible Societies.

Dr. Barine is an accomplished author. His recent works include co-editor for the African Christian Leadership: Realities, Opportunities, and Impact book, the result of a multiyear study implemented by African scholars, offering insights on the support and training necessary to promote African Christianity and to foster the healthy development of Africa (AfricaLeadershipStudy.org). In addition, he has authored and co-authored several books among them Transformational Corporate Leadership, a text used in leadership and governance training in universities.

Dr. Barine enjoys training, coaching and building capacity for leaders, writers, and publishers and has featured as a keynote speaker, workshop or breakout session facilitator in many conferences. He is a founding trustee for Media Associates International-Africa and a trainer with Media Associates International.

Dr. Barine holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration. His research focus was on leadership and corporate governance.
