I am a reference librarian at heart, and a technologist in the mind. Through Amazon and other distributors, I have built up a small yet substantial number of collections. These collections coupled with my websites constitute my work as an independent researcher. I mostly publish and provide textual information on not terribly common subjects with the goal of making the knowledge contained inside of the collections more greatly available.

My favorite authors of all time are Herodotus, Lucian, and Giambattista Vico. Herodotus for his expansive outlook; Lucian for the truths behind his satire; Vico for his imaginative explanation of how everything works.
