Bill D Hallsted

Bill D. Hallsted was born and raised in rural and small town northwestern Nebraska. He began breaking horses to ride, reselling them as saddle horses for spending money, by the time he was twelve. He has worked in farming and ranching, building construction, plumbing, electrical wiring, molybdenum mining and carpet laying, before learning the restaurant business. His restaurant skills proved providential for him and his family when he was called to Christian Ministry, providing for their support during his years of schooling, earning Bachelor's Degrees in Sacred Literature and Ministries, and a Master's Degree in counseling. He and his wife of 53 years have raised five children, including the one spotlighted in Blood, Tears & Joy. They have ten grand-children, and, to date, six great-grandchildren, all absolutely splendid, of course! He has written books in non-fiction, contemporary fiction, & Western fiction.
