John Orozco

John Orozco grew up in Corona, California in the frenetic '60s, playing guitar in various rock-and-roll bands but avoiding work otherwise. In 1969, he was drafted, and quickly realized there were some things worse than work. After the army, he taught in LA city schools for a decade or so, and then joined the faculty at LA Mission College where he's taught English for the past twenty years. He lives today in Tujunga, California, with his choreographer wife of thirty two years. He has two adult children who have flown the coop. He is currently avoiding work again but does have notes and an outline of his final chapter in the chronicle of his hapless alter ego, Eddie Delano.
