Isaac Crowe

Isaac Crowe was born in 1978 in Brazil, Indiana. He developed a lasting love of anime in 1985 after seeing the broadcast of Robotech. In 1989, he started his first playthrough of Dragon Warrior, a Japanese Role Playing Game or JRPG. While both anime and games were important in driving Isaac’s writing style, it was how the JRPG’s handled the characters' backstories and interactions that really influenced him. The conversations with the characters revealed their motivations and feelings and made him care about what happened to them in the story. This is why you will find his works rich with dialogue written in a way that makes you feel you are there with them, listening in.

Between work, teaching, and going on adventures with his wife, Isaac still finds time to play JRPG’s and watch anime. He also plays Pathfinder regularly, giving him another outlet for his creativity. If you are wondering, yes, his character is usually some sort of cat creature.
