Robert A. Rupp

Robert A. Rupp is a novelist and retired information technology executive living in Southeastern Michigan. A Michigan State University graduate and Vietnam War veteran, Robert uses his life experiences to write technically believable, character-driven cozy mystery thrillers and science fiction. He has published three novels and an autobiography of his Vietnam War experiences.

Robert enjoys putting ordinary people into extraordinary situations to connect life's exciting moments to an otherwise mundane life. His characters, often pushed into making quick decisions, solve one set of problems only to encounter more challenging obstacles. These complications lead to various subplots and character interactions that take the reader on an exciting journey of mysterious, spine-chilling and thrilling actions leading to an exciting and captivating conclusion. Robert studied communication arts and journalism in college and connected with a famous author who mentored him on tight writing techniques and plot set up. His writing spans over 20 years, and since recently retiring from the corporate computing industry, he finally has time to finish and get his books published.
