L.J. Thomas

I began writing over 35 years ago. I started with poetry, but soon discovered that I love stories. I write both fiction and nonfiction. I'm affectionately called a "lover of words". I live with MS (multiple sclerosis), so I had to tell that story (Bad Nerves: Living with MS). Sales revenue from the book are donated to help fight MS and find a cure. I am a survivor of domestic abuse and I'm published in a book dealing with the topic (Tales of Survival: Domestic Violence). I use writing as my escape and it helps calm me.

As a grandmother, I have watched my grandsons grow and i've started a children's book series for each of them based on situations in life and behaviors (Leo Learns and Billie's Place) that young ones experience. Check out my work:

My Alphabet Book

I love writing fiction short stories and have a collection called What Is This World Coming To?, for juveniles. It is a sci-fi horror collection. The stories are Evie's Legacy, Smart Agent, Tommy's Dream, Xertican Keys, Gary's Talent, Dwellers, The Living Forest and Bright Ones Disappear. I also Have a Fiction series called Kidnapped in Love (The KIL series), which includes Kidnapped in Love and Kidnapped in Love2:Backfire. I'm thinking of doing the third part soon. My fiction writing is done under Jamela.
