Jordan Hofer has a BS in zoology and a Master's degree in biocultural anthropology from Oregon State University, where he also taught human evolution for five years. Later, he studied and wrote about ufology for seven years.
He is the author of Alpha Charlie, Saucerville, Conifer and Mothership (The Saucerville Trilogy), Chupacabra Chalupa (with David Barker), Evolutionary Ufology: A New Synthesis, Little Gray Bastards: The Incessant Alien Presence (with David Barker), Unidentifiable Flying Objects: The Dwindling Probability of Solving the UFO Enigma (with David Barker), Sanctity of the Obscene, The Lucky Dragon, Evidence for the Personhood of Chimpanzees, The World of Kurt Vonnegut: Kilgore Trout's "Brother Glovekin" and "Nuke Man Fever!," G.I.JOE: "The Abduction of Malcom Willoughby," "A Crystal Ball Darkly," "Transformer Men" and "drone@home," as well as Coffee & Nicorettes (poems with Chris Olsenius), among others.
He is currently hard at work on his next novel, returning to his zoological roots with a story of survival and the struggle for existence.
