Crystal Senter Brown

Meet Crystal Senter-Brown, a force to be reckoned with in the world of poetry and literature. Having been featured in Redbook Magazine, Vibe Magazine, and Essence Magazine, Crystal has lived and breathed the art of performance poetry and writing for most of her life. Hailing from Morristown, TN, she was born to a bass-playing Baptist preacher and a visual artist. Her love for words was ignited at a tender age, with her first onstage poem performance at just six years old. From there, she has graced thousands of events, sharing the spotlight with legends like M.C. Lyte, Nikki Giovanni, Sonia Sanchez, Ruby Dee, Nona Hendrix, and more.

Crystal's literary prowess is showcased in her impressive list of 12 titles, including "Healing through the Senses," "Hush," "One One One," "Chill Girl," "Chill Bro," "AJ and the Magic Kite," "Gabby Gives Back," "But Now I See," "But You Have Such a Pretty Face," "Doubledutch," "Gabby Saturday," and "The Rhythm in Blue," which even made its way to the silver screen. She's no stranger to the stage either, with roles in "The Vagina Monologues" and as Glinda the Good Witch in "The Wiz." She is the host of the popular "Passion, Purpose and Paychecks" podcast.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Crystal is a certified career coach and Gallup Strengths coach. A wife and mom, she currently resides in New England, in a charming 124-year-old home, with her husband and their beloved dog-daughter, Venus J. Brown, MD.
