Barbara Rose Legge

Barbara Rose Legge was born in Jackson, Mississippi in 1943. She grew up in Hyattsville, MD with her 5 brothers and sisters. Her dream was to write a book. It took her over 60 years, but she finally did it! Her book is a collection of short stories from her personal experiences. Some of the stories are about her childhood during the 40's and 50's. Others are about adventures as a dog groomer,professional clown and massage therapist. Barbara moved to Florida in 2007 and joined the Sandcastle Storytellers in DeLand. She enjoys entertaining audiences by performing her stories. She's a member of the Florida Storytellers and Florida Writers Associations. She lives in Edgewater, Florida with her husband,Spencer,their miniature poodle Joey and two cats, Rosie and Gilbert.
