Victoria Norvaisa

Born in Lithuania, Victoria Norvaisa came to the United States in 1949. She grew up in the Philadelphia area and moved to Erie in 1971. Victoria has studied with and attended workshops conducted by local and national artists.

Victoria's first novel "Desire and Red Wine, A Life's Journey" was published in 2/4/2013 and is available at Barnes&Noble, Amazon, Books123, and also in Kindle and Nook format.

It deals with the triumphs and tragedies of one family, taking the reader from Eastern Europe after WWI, moving thru the ravages of war in Nazi Germany, and ending in the United States after WWII, where the parents' traditional values conflict with a different culture of modern America. It is a historical and provocative read with many sensual moments of Aurelia's love and laughter, hopes and shattered dreams, dealing with failure and resilience.

Victoria Norvaisa’s second novel "Lydia: Destiny or Choice" published in June, 2019, is now also available on Amazon and Barnes&Noble. It is a captivating story about love, espionage and international intrigue, taking the reader on a journey from the United States to Brussels, Sweden, and Lithuania, as the plot twists and turns in unexpected ways. When Lydia Stearns travels to Brussels to accept a position in NATO’s Com/Info Department, she has no idea that the job will entangle her in romance and danger. Destiny is at work when she captures the attention of Vasily Beloglazov, an attache in the Russian Consulate in Brussels, and Bradley Hanes, a CIA agent working for NATO. Lydia’s courage is tested when she gets involved in a secret plan to destroy a Russian sub lurking near the Lithuanian coast in the Baltic Sea. Will she choose to follow her heart or loyalty to her Country?

Victoria is better known in Northwest Pennsylvania for her artwork and has exhibited her work in local and regional galleries and shows. Her work has been exhibited at the Allentown Art Festival in Buffalo, NY, at the Stonewall Gallery of Campbell Pottery Barn, the Cummings Gallery at Mercyhurst University, the Shuster Gallery at Gannon University and the Fowler-Kellogg Art Center at Chautauqua Institution. Her work has been selected to be shown at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, Erie, PA, video art intermission loop. She is a member of the Northwest PA Artists Association and an exhibiting member of the Visual Arts at Chautauqua Institution (VACI). Norvaisa supports the arts and charitable organizations in the Erie area by contributing her work to many benefit auctions.
