L. R. Holder

Leslyn Roseanne Holder was born in the County of Essequibo Guyana, South America to Guyanese parents of multi ethnic background. Grew up in Bartica and then lived in Georgetown from the age of 20 years old. L R Holder studied at the Georgetown School of Nursing initially for two years from 1990 to 1992 and then further qualified as an RGN after studying from 1996 to 1999. For fifteen years she worked as a Nurse in her home country before she migrated to the United Kingdom in 2005 to continue the pursuit of her dreams. In 2013, she published her first book "Where the Rivers Run Deep". She continues to enjoy her career as a Nurse Manager and is studying for a BA Honor's degree in Health and Social Care. She planes to get involved in Mental Health awareness in her birth country.
