Peter Bill

Peter is a surveyor-turned-journalist who edited UK construction title,Building,for six years in the Nineties, before editing weekly real estate bible, Estates Gazette, for 11 years, until 2009. Peter wrote a weekly ‘On Property’ page for the London Evening Standard City section between 2007 and early 2015. In 2013 he published his first book, Planet Property, a look at the commercial real estate sector in the UK. In October 2020, Peter co-authored Broken Homes, which takes a caustic look at the home building sector in Britain today. He continues to write, including a regular column for Estates Gazette
