Paul Woods

Paul Woods (born in 1946) is an American poet and writer. Raised in Boston, MA, he began writing while still in high school. From 1972 to 2009 he worked in health care as a radiologic technologist. Retired by 2009, he entered the world of independent publishing with a collection of poetry titled, "When You Can't See The Trees For The Wood", with Booksurge. Then, with Createspace, he followed up with "Swimming With A School Of Fish On 34th Street", in 2012, and "Our Veteran Daze -- Deep Purple Hearts", in 2013. "The Pudding Stone", his fourth collection of prose and poetry, is scheduled for publication in May of 2014. Paul's current project in progress is a retrospective collection of book length fiction about an Irish catholic family in post World War Two America.
