HAPPINESS: I've always dedicated myself to the search for truth and personal happiness since I was very young. The spiritual quest is one the main driving focuses in my life. My book, "How to Create Your Own Happiness: the Complete Guide" is the accumulated knowledge of years of soul-searching and self-education on the subject of happiness, spiritual growth, success concepts and what it actually means to pursue the quest for happiness.

I've seen the techniques presented in this book change lives and I know many of these ideas really hit at the core concepts of happiness and give direct and practical suggestions on how to make the most out of life. The information is exciting, enriching and really works.

SONGWRITING: I have written hundreds of songs over the past 31 years in all kinds of genres of music that include the following: folk, rock, alternative rock, pop, adult contemporary, soul, folk-rock and general singer/songwriter material.

Tony Visconti, the famous producer of many David Bowie albums (including the latest), Morrissey, T-Rex and others once called a selection of my songs, "very adventurous."

Songwriting is my passion. I do not believe that songwriting should be only for "superstars" that we idle-worship but songwriting can enrich everyday people's lives, can touch the lives of their loved ones and reach to a larger community.

Songwriting, in my opinion, is one of the most pure and wonderful forms of expression and I would like to see more people take up the art as a hobby; or maybe extend it beyond a hobby if that is their dream. It's a wonderful hobby for anyone.

Now I want to share this wonderful process with others using the very same methods that I have used time and time again in a step by step, methodical, yet very creative approach. That's why I wrote "Strum, Hum and Write Your Own Songs." It's the sum of everything I have learned in the songwriting process over 31 years.

MARRIAGE:

As a veteran of a 30 year successful and happy marriage, I think I'm qualified to say a word or two about what makes a marriage successful. There ARE key elements that go into any successful, happy and long-lasting marriage and I'm happy to share these tips with everyone.
