Drew Keeling

Historian Drew Keeling (MBA, PhD), enjoys traveling across land and water. He has visited ten major North Atlantic port cities while researching the international travel business by which eleven million Europeans, from dozens of different ethnicities and linguistic groups, moved to the United States during the Ellis Island era preceding World War I, on steamships such as Lusitania, Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse, and Titanic. He is one of the roughly one-third of today's Americans who are descended from these immigrants. The "Business of Transatlantic Migration" is his first book.
