Why would God turn a huge revelation about an end time’s prophecy over to an unknown and tell him to write a book? I plan to ask Him, because I don’t know the answer and I am the author. About 2003 the Holy Spirit revealed the meaning of these prophetic words written 2,500 years ago and proceeded to verify them for me. I was in a Bible study at the time and began sharing with everyone in my group. Their level of interest approached a yawn. It had to be the messenger and not the message. I was dumbfounded at the response. I tucked it away until something happened in 2012.

When that event happened, my interest rekindled. God began to work in His way to convince me now was the time of His choosing, not those years before. As He does in communication with us, my mind vividly recalled an experience on an operating table in July, 2005. I was having a heart attack. My cardiologist, who is elevated to near sainthood in our home, was having trouble getting the stint into the blockage. My chest felt like it was going to explode with each beat. Death seemed certain and I asked Jesus to get it over with and take me. Across my abdomen, much like the scrolling marquee at Times Square, He said, “You are going to live and not die. I have work for you to do.” In 2012 I knew instantly that the work was this book. Simple association and cognitive recognition one might ask? Perhaps, it is the Creator simply using His creation to communicate.

I believe God uses this work for three purposes. The first is to show how He uses events connected to natural disasters to communicate warnings of grave danger to a nation. The way in which He communicates this prophecy of judgment is done so that it eliminates the possibility of mathematical chance. Secondly, it is to finally reveal the meaning of Isaiah’s prophetic words; having remained so long dormant to mankind’s understanding. In seven short verses, the questions of who, what, when, where and how are all answered. God has fulfilled His promise given in Amos 3:7 to the one generation to whom the words were spoken: for the Lord YHWH does nothing unless He reveals His secret council to His servants the prophets. The third purpose is for Him to offer practical instruction to those who need it; instructions that teach one how to survive the coming judgment. Woven throughout the book are teachings to edify Believers, both those struggling in the faith and those well along the path of spiritual maturity.

You have not come to this point by accident. You have met me through these words and in the process the Holy Spirit has been encouraging you to read this book, else you would have bailed long before now.
