Jason Bailey is the author of 'Pulp Fiction: The Complete History of Quentin Tarantino’s Masterpiece,' 'The Ultimate Woody Allen Film Companion,' 'Richard Pryor: American Id,' and 'It's Ok With Me: Hollywood, the 1970s, and the Return of the Private Eye.' A graduate of the Cultural Reporting and Criticism program at New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, his writing has appeared in The New York Times, Vulture, The Playlist, The Village Voice, VICE, Slate, The Atlantic, The Dissolve, IndieWire, and Flavorwire, where he was film editor from 2012 to 2019. His next book, 'Fun City Cinema: New York City and the Movies That Made It,' will be published by ABRAMS Books in October 2021. He lives in the Bronx with his wife Rebekah and their two daughters.
