Jacquelyn Dodd

Jacquelyn Dodd is an award-winning beer and food writer and photographer based in Seattle, Washington. She has lived a somewhat uncommon life. She learned to make fried chicken in Compton, almost died in Morocco, taught a gang member to drive a stick, and has an above-average ability to fold fitted sheets. But how does a farm girl with a master’s in psychology who has failed stints in everything from door-to-door vacuum sales to runway modeling become a published beer and food writer and photographer? Well, clearly, she was running out of options.

Dodd is the woman behind the beer at the award-winning website TheBeeroness.com. Her beer-infused recipes earned her a spot as a finalist for Saveur’s Best Original Recipes as well as the crowned winner for Best Beer Coverage. She has been seen on The Today Show, Lifetime Network, and CBS News, and in publications such as Food & Wine, Imbibe, Bite, and the San Francisco Chronicle. She has written for Parade, 1889, Draft Magazine, and Whisk, among others, and is the author of The Craft Beer Cookbook, The Craft Beer Bites Cookbook and Lush: A Season-by-Season Celebration of Craft Beer and Produce.
