Imagine you are a young boy or girl and are given a task so daunting and dangerous that your very lives depended on working together to overcome all odds in order to succeed in the end. Perhaps you must run a gauntlet of British spies and escape a notorious prison ship in order to get a secret message to George Washington that could turn the tide of the Revolutionary War. Or fulfill the dying wishes of your mother and find yourself galloping on horseback along the Oregon Trail one step ahead of a bloodthirsty gang of murderous thieves that are bent on seeking revenge.

I write what I call action adventure historical fiction for Middle Grade readers and I love to make history fun for the kids. My characters rely on wits, brains, and learn the skills necessary to accomplish near impossible tasks. Along the way they meet historical figures in historical and well as fictional events. For my first novel, I traveled the Oregon Trail with my trusty dog, Joey, and traced my pioneer roots. I am also a professional actor. I have appeared in many films and television shows through the years like LIAR LIAR, THE WORLD'S FASTEST INDIAN, HOLES, ALIEN NATION, PARKS AND RECREATION, and the many STAR TREK tv shows.
