Jocelyn Kessler

Jocelyn Kessler is an animal communicator and author based in Franklin, Tennessee. For over 25 years, she has helped people and their animals heal, communicate, and deepen their bonds through her intuitive understanding of the language animals speak.

As the author of The Secret Language of Dogs, Jocelyn has dedicated her career to bridging the gap between humans and animals, working with traumatized rescue animals who have lost their trust in the world and helping them find their way back to peace.

Her newest project, the Goat Mountain Sanctuary Series, shares true stories from her work with rescued animals at Goat Mountain Animal Sanctuary in North Carolina, founded by the late Rob Levy. Through beautifully illustrated children's books such as Ozzie Finds His Brave, Jocelyn brings real rescue journeys to young readers, showing that healing is possible and that bravery means taking one small step at a time.

Jocelyn lives in Franklin, Tennessee, with her companion dog Mary Grace, who keeps her grounded and on schedule.
