Anwen Francis

Hi! Shwmae! I'm Welsh, proud and passionate about my writing and currently writing my tenth novel for children. I started with Siani the Shetland based on a real, breathing pony who lives with us (now 25 years young). Since then, I've adapted and translated my novels from Welsh to English and in 2020 I published my latest novel - Diesel the Donkey. A busy mum, a keen equestrian / panel judge, reporter (ex BBC), broadcaster and translator, I love writing around midnight until the early hours of the morning. I have so many ideas floating around my head that are going to make lovely novels for children, and I can't wait to get them all on paper. I hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I did writing them.
