Jeffrey L. Tucker

By day, I am a vice president of a large healthcare system in rural Wisconsin, and former President & CEO of a network of clinics located throughout MN and WI. By night I am a business partner and investor which is the newest passion and focus in my life. For quite a few years I ran a busy horse farm - Raindance Farms, LLC. A couple of years ago I sold the farm property to my ex- and moved on to a new chapter in my life's story, buying and renovating a century old farm house in central WI. I still have several horses I love dearly, I just no longer spend my nights worrying that there will be the same number of horses in the morning as the evening before! Plus my various adventures led to my introductions to various medical specialties such as orthopedics, physical therapy and the occasional emergency room so this is perhaps a bit safer for me.

I enjoy writing immensely and though writing "Warmed by Windchill" was taxing emotionally, I do hope to write at least one more book about this experience, geared towards children - who were an active part of Windchill's brief life and whom I made a special point of acknowledging and writing back to during and after Windchill's rescue.
