M. Ann Rohrer

Twenty years and six children into marriage, M. Ann Rohrer decided to follow her dream to write. Ten years later, and fifteen rewrites, she published her first novel. She is the third generation born in Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Her great grandparents, paternal and maternal, came to Mexico from Utah in 1886. She is endowed with a rich historical legacy, which includes the Mexican Revolution that inspired her first story. At age nine, she moved with her family to Peru, South America for ten years. Growing up in foreign countries fostered a patriotic awareness and appreciation for the USA. With her husband, Mrs. Rohrer has lived in Arizona, New Mexico, Washington, and most recently Cedar City, a quiet town in the heart of picturesque Southern Utah where she pursues her writing.
