Jan Peterson Ewen

Jan Peterson Ewen is a native of the Pacific Northwest, with a short detour through Southern California to pursue her education and training as a vocalist and actor. Jan has served as Artistic Director of Western Washington Center for the Arts for the past 14 years. She has directed over 60 musicals and plays. Jan's experience in the theater and teaching actors of all ages led her to write "Fractured Fairy Tale Scenes for Student Actors" (Meriwether) and the recently released, "Sci-Fi Scenes and Monster Dreams" (Meriwether/Pioneer Drama). "Starring on Bay Street" is her debut novel that highlights the warm and humorous experiences of a local theater and the amazing characters that call it 'home'.
