Peter K. Adams

Peter Adams is co-author of Venture Capital for Dummies (John Wiley & Sons. 2013) presenting entrepreneurs with an inside view of what is needed to raise angel and venture financing in a competitive and fast moving market.

Peter serves as the Executive Director of the Rockies Venture Club a non-profit organization furthering economic development in Colorado by connecting investors and entrepreneurs through conferences (Angel Capital Summit and Colorado Capital Conference), networking events, angel investing educational offerings and facilitation of Colorado's largest angel investor groups.

Peter is managing partner of the Rockies Venture Fund I. venture capital fund and the Rockies Impact Fund, investing in social and environmental venture capital deals.

Peter has over twenty five years of business experience in corporate leadership roles as CIO and economics director and as a serial entrepreneur. Peter is also the CEO for BizGirls.org, a non-profit summer CEO development program for young women, and Omniportraits, a for-profit e-commerce venture. Peter holds a BA Degree from Colorado College, PhD/ABD from University of Colorado and an MBA from Regis University.
