LaTorre Mays

His life taking him from San Diego to New York to Little Rock, Arkansas and back again, LaTorre Mays’s life has been a rollercoaster. Born and raised in Arkansas, LaTorre has loved to write since he could walk and talk. He loves thinking up bizarre ideas about neurotic people, to read when he gets time, and enjoys learning more about the craft of writing.

His short story “A Study in Mime” was first published in a defunct e-zine back in the fall of 2004. He is the author of the futuristic vampire series The Darkened which includes Darkened Soul, Darkchilde, and Darkened Tabula. Darkened Soul: Jonathan’s Tale, Darkened Soul: Pieces of a Darkened Puzzle, and Darkened Soul: Witch’s Abyss are his other Darkenverse published works. The recently released How the Other Half Lives is his first normal (for him) gay novel.

Currently, he is working on more books in the Darkened series.
