Out The Window (a novel)
Reflects the author's time with the comedians and his own time as a stand-up comic. He has great respect for comedians and the way that they help us fulfil our own lives.
The Drone Wars: Europagnis 2030 (a short story)
We see Hearn's warning of our loss of liberty to the drones in particular and electronic personal data ripping in general. It is at once frightening and reassuring in that we can stop the trend and learn to use only science to our advantage. It is an entertaining story and one full of the compassion of youth showing the western world in revolt against mindless dictators who abuse the power given them by mind controlling electronics.
The Pious Diner (a short story)
The story of the Chef Peter Ram and the Broadway Dancer Veronica Moore both of whom were murdered in London probably by the same people and probably for reasons of soups and pies. Agatha Ram, Peter's mother is famous for her soup enhancer based on a very suspicious powder that finds its way into Peter's soup sold from his stall in New York City, plus 'Chinese Sorrel' genetically engineered by the CIA. Maybe Peter killed Bill O'Reilly head of the Irish Mafia and his top honcho in self-defence. Was his soup 'December is Here' exactly the same as his soup 'October Warmer'? To what extent was Justin Lear implicated in Peter's murder? Why did Peter agree to his restaurant being named 'The Pious Diner' and why was there just one pie on the menu?
