Carol O'Casey

Carol O'Casey has spent years in the field--literally--as a biologist cataloging plants high in the mountains of Southern California to mucking through mud monitoring shorebirds in Washington.

With a B.S. degree in Marine Biology from Cal State University Long Beach and a M.S. degree in Biology from California State University San Bernardino, Carol has enjoyed teaching science to college students as well as sixth graders, and has been published in the Journal of Field Ornithology and in the Journal of Environmental Entomology.

Carol's passion is exploring the wonders tucked in the cathedrals of God's wilds. She lives in central Oregon with her husband, a Christian minister and professor, and is the proud mother of three amazing children.
