Dennis McDonald

Retired Burlington County Times (NJ) photographer, Dennis McDonald has long had an interest in local history and old photographs. Medford and Smithville, both published by Arcadia Publishing, reflect that passion. My book on Smithville recently won an award from the Burlington County Commissioners in the Published History category. In July, 2022 Whitesbog, co-authored with Sarah Augustine and Kiyomi Locker was published.

Dennis is currently a Trustee at Whitesbog Preservation Trust in Pemberton Towsnhip, New Jersey and is working with the Trust historians to continue digitizing their collection.

Mr. McDonald graduated from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University with a degree in Photojournalism.
