Robert Hornick grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He became a lawyer, practiced international law for 33 years, and now teaches part-time at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. He is the author of two history books, one about the Belchertown State School for the Feeble-Minded and the other about Revolutionary War naval hero John Paul Jones, as well as books and articles about Indonesian law and international arbitration.
