Medical doctor, author, historical restaurant explorer.Born in Turkey,Burdur in 1969. He graduated Medical Faculty of Ege University in 1992. He wrote his first book 100 Tarihi Lokanta (100 Historical Restaurants of Turkey), in 2010 . He has achieved third Best Guide in GOURMAND AWARDS 2010 COOKBOOKS with this book. He is married with Aesthetic Surgeon Defne Erkara and has two daughters.
