Jerome W. Crowder

Jerome Crowder was born (1966) and raised in Houston, Texas until 1985 when he began to travel the world, first heading to Africa and then an extended period in South America. He completed a BA (Anthropology) from University of Texas- Austin (1989) and his PhD from University of Pittsburgh (1998). He is currently a faculty member at the University of Houston College of Medicine and President of the Society for Visual Anthropology.
