Kathy Kipp Clayton

Kathy Kipp Clayton was born and lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, until she married and moved to California where she and her husband raised their seven children. The family unexpectedly moved back to Salt Lake City responsive to a calling from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Over the course of the subsequent nineteen years while they were primarily stationed in Salt Lake City, Kathy and her husband, L. Whitney Clayton, lived in Argentina for four years as well as traveled around the world on Church assignments.

Kathy earned a bachelor’s degree in English and French Education and a master’s degree in Linguistics. She is the author of Teaching to Build Faith and Faithfulness and has taught English and religion classes in both the United States and Argentina in Spanish. She and her husband are the grandparents of twenty-eight grandchildren.
