Jon Boilard

Jon Boilard was born and raised in small towns in Western Massachusetts and currently lives in Northern California. He is the author of five published books: the novels A River Closely Watched, The Castaway Lounge, and Junior, and the short story collections Settright Road and Junk City. In addition, his award-winning short stories have appeared in some of the finest literary journals in the United States, Canada, Ireland and India. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University, and he has been invited to read his work, participate in panel discussions and lead writing workshops at the Cork International Short Story Festival, the Wroclaw Short Story Festival and LitQuake.
