Laine Crosby

Laine is an investigative medium and author of several books including the New York Times Bestseller and #1 Amazon Bestseller, Investigative Medium—the Awakening, about her own true story. Laine moved to a Maryland plantation and awakened suddenly psychic, talking to the spirit of a slave buried in her yard. The second book in this series is due in 2020. Laine is also author of the #1 Amazon bestseller, How to Cleanse Spirit Energy, now revised with more stories and additional help.

As the daughter of Atlanta Civil War Author/Historian, C.P. Crosby, Laine developed a love of history and writing early in life and has worked with law enforcement, forensic scientists, detectives, missing persons networks, historians, and archaeologists to find out what history has not revealed.

Currently, Laine can be seen on the Travel Channel’s Ghost Brothers: Haunted Houseguests, and she has appeared on other shows on the Travel Channel, Biography Channel, and FYI networks. She has been featured in The Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, and numerous other local and national papers, radio shows, news and local television segments. Her work has also been featured in dozens of books, including those by Historians Dennis Hocker and Mark Nesbitt, a true-crime anthology by Detective Lee Loftlan, and other works by authors including Forensic Psychologist, Dr.Katherine Ramsland. Laine also consults with production companies developing paranormal shows for national cable television networks.

Laine holds a B.A. in Economics from Agnes Scott College, and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University, among other graduate certificates and professional certifications. She is also an award-winning journalist and editor of a national magazine that serves the banking industry.

Laine is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and currently lives in Maryland with her husband, twins, and Jack Russell terrier, Pete. She loves reading, writing, Georgia Tech football, and exploring historic sites.
