Phyllis Tamres

On Phyllis' 80th birthday, she had a heart to heart talk with herself. "Self," she said, "We're not getting any younger. If we're going to write a book it had better be now." For many years Phyllis had thought about reincarnation. There were times when she wondered if perhaps she had had a past life. She also wondered if reincarnation might be the reason for transgender and homosexuality. With those thoughts a story had been writing itself. Now was the time to put it down on paper.

Why did it take all those years for her to start writing? Lack of time. She was too busy living life with her teen-age sweetheart. They married when she was nineteen. By twenty she was a mother. Three years later their second daughter was born. Over the course of sixty years her daughters married, gave her a grandson and a granddaughter. Her grandson married and produced the latest addition to the family--a great grandson. She worked most of those years and at age fifty-five, she retired. Two years later she and her husband moved to Florida and her affair with computers began. She designs websites, edits photos, does all kinds of computer work for various organizations and friends--all gratis. And now, finally she is an author!
